How do you wash your fencing jacket without messing up the blue lettering on the back?

I haven't washed my fencing jacket since I got my name put on the back.... Does anyone know how I could wash it without smudging the lettering on the back and getting it all over the white?

Answer:
If you had your stenciling done professionally, you can wash it normally with no bleach (which I wouldn't use on a fencing jacket anyway)--whoever does the stands at tournaments is pretty good, and the uhlmann factory is good. I'll usually do a rinse and hang-dry after most practices just to save a little wear. My name hasn't come off my jacket (though it did fade a little), and I've machine washed it at least thirty times.
