Do electronic pet fences work and what is the best brand?
I have a lab and rotti that are very hard to train. I've been told that electronic fences dont work at all. My dogs do respond when they have their shock collars on isnt this how the electric fence works?
Answer: I have a wireless fence for our bulldog. It works very well. PetSafe is the brand we use. I have noticed that the wireless doesn't work as well if you have a bigger dog because the jolt doesn't get there attention as much. They do make collars that have different levels of shock. The ones that you dig and put in the ground are stronger and would probably work better for your pets, but you do have to dig and put the fence in the ground.
