Is there anyway to keep chickens out of a particular area without fences?
We have some happy free roaming chickens in our backyard, and they are welcome to go whereever they want - except a small paved area. Of course this is where they continually choose to go and leave messes all the time. I'm not keen to put fences up as it would be unattractive, and it's a pretty small area. Any ideas?
Answer: I don't really know a way to keep them out of the area. But try focusing on one are of your backyard where their food and all there needs are, so they don't need to roam over into the paved area. So all i can think of is just to keep the attention away from that area, though chickens will always be chickens...Hope that heps
